There would be no change in plans of the burial of the late former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Agagu, despite the crash of the Associated Airlines flight that was conveying his family members, relatives and friends to the burial venue.
The crash resulted in the death of several persons on Thursday.
But the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Burial Committee, Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin, on Thursday said that despite the plane crash, the remains would be interred on Friday as originally planned.
Akinfolarin said: “There is no point keeping the corpse of the former governor.
“If the remains were returned to the mortuary, the body would decompose.”
The burial is scheduled for Iju-Odo in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State on Friday.
