James Earl Jones, an American actor, best known for his role as Mufasa in Disney’s “The Lion King” has died.
Damarea Liao, former Miss Nigeria, actor Kevin Costner and others have paid tribute to him after news of his death broke on Monday.
Star Wars creator George Lucas led the tributes to the “incredible actor”, saying: “A most unique voice both in art and spirit.”
Damarea Liao, who said she heard of the death of her “favoirite actor” on the set of: “The Karate Kid,” said in an Instagram story: “This man was a huge part of my childhood.

“I got to meet him on the set of: ‘Coming to America 2.’
“He wasn’t on set long, but his demeanour was very welcoming.
“He did share with me that ‘the world needs more warm hearts’ and to never let anyone dim my smile.
“I’ll always remember that.
“Sleep in peace Mufasa.”
Liao shared an older photo of the late actor on the set of “Coming to America” in the story, calling him a “gentle giant”.
According to reports in Japan, Liao flew back to America to attend a tribute for Jones on the set of ABC News.
