The submission of Memorandum for the review of the 1999 Constitution closed on Tuesday (today).
This was announced by the Senate Ad-hoc Committee on Constitution Review.
The Committee said it received 50 memorandum.
The Senate Ad-hoc Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution had on August 26 commenced the process of further alteration to the provisions of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
The Panel issued a 14-day ultimatum for the submission of the Memorandum to the Ad-hoc Committee, which closed today.
Investigation revealed that the Panel has received about 50 memorandum so far from the general Public.
Among those who submitted memorandum to the Committee are former Minister of Information, Prince Tony Momoh; Tope Fasua; and Coalition for Federalists for Good Governance in Nigeria.
