Lobi Stars face a tough battle against former champions Wydad Casablanca, ASEC Mimosas and Mamelodi Sundowns in Group A of the 2019 CAF Champions League.
Lobi Stars opening group game will be at home against Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa between January 11 and 13.
Sundowns, better known as ‘The Brazilians’ by their fans, won this competition three years ago.
Wydad from Morocco were continental champions two years ago, while ASEC from Cote d’Ivoire ruled Africa in 1998.
This will be Lobi Stars second participation in the mini-league stage of this annual competition after their first attempt in 2000.
