President Muhammadu Buhari has reversed the dismissal of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Company Limited, Maryln Amobi.
This is the second time in days that the President will overrule the Minister of Power, Sale Mamman, over the suspension of MDs of agencies under him.
Buhari had on Tuesday overruled Mamman’s suspension of the Managing Director of Rural Electricity Agency, Damilola Ogunbiyi.
Ogunbiyi has since proceeded to take up an appointment with the United Nations.
The reversal of Amobi’s suspension was contained in a statement by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
Apart from reversing the suspension, President Buhari also ordered the movement of the NBET to the Ministry of Finance from the Ministry of Power.
