Operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team have arrested the Commander of the gang that kidnapped two Americans and two Canadians in Kagarko, Kaduna State last week.
The foreign nationals were kidnapped on Tuesday last week but rescued unhurt a day after.
However, two mobile policemen attached to them were shot dead by the kidnappers.
The Commander of the kidnap gang, Dogo Russia, was arrested on Wednesday by the IRT, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari.
According to information available to The Eagle Online, Russia has confessed to the killing of the mobile policemen attached to the foreign nationals and their subsequent Kidnapping.
The IRT reports directly to the IGP, Ibrahim Idris.
