The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has appointed 17 new Permanent Secretaries.
The appointments come a day after Fayemi accepted the retirement of eight Permanent Secretaries.
A statement by Fayemi’s spokesman, Yinka Oyebade, in the early hours of Friday said the appointments were in a bid to further position the government for better service delivery.
Those appointed include Mayowa Emmanuel Oyedeji, Idowu Olalere Oguntuase, Samson Olufemi Osasona, Engr. Adetiloye Fatoba, Ayodele Michael Ajimati, Pham. Mercy Olabisi Arogundade, Joseph Aderemi Obaparusi, Bamidele Simeon Arowosola and Abayomi Michael Opeyemi.
Others are Ibrahim Titilope Ganiyu, Samuel Akinjide Akinleye, Oluwadare Benjamin Ajayi, Adebayo Ajobiewe, Kemisola Olabisi Ayegbusi, Matthew Olusesan Fabamise, Dr. Williams Mobolaji Afolabi and Adeniyi Olatunji Familoni.
Oyebode said the appointments take immediate effect.
