Besiktas are targeting Chelsea midfielder, Mikel John Obi.
Recent claims suggested Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, is eyeing up a surprise move and is confident of securing a deal in January.
A Turkey-based newspaper disclosed that Besiktas are also keen to snap Obi up.
They expressed an interest in the summer, and at the time, Chelsea were holding out for £7.7 million for the player.
It is thought that Chelsea are keen to get rid of Obi as soon as possible and should he leave in the next window, the west London outfit might get a small fee for him.
