Actress Mary Njoku appears to disagree with the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, who in a post shared on Instagram, said the Nollywood is not a dumping site for BBNaija evictees.
The prominent Nollywood actress stated this in a post she shared on her Instagram page on Monday evening.
Njoku said the movie industry is a home for all as it has saved many who were unemployed.
According to her, many would have committed suicide if not for the industry.
She wrote: “She doesn’t care about your past.
“She doesn’t care about what the world thinks of you.
“She doesn’t discriminate.
“She holds you till find your feet in the the society.
“ANYONE can make it in Nollywood.
“She gives a clean slate to anyone who wants a 2nd, 3rd or 4th chance.
“She never stops giving.
“Majority of us were unemployable in the society when we joined Nollywood.
“No degree. No certificates.
“If not for Nollywood so many people would have committed suicide because of stigmatization and discrimination.
“Nollywood is home to ALL.
“She is life to anyone who wants to live. Remember that.”
