Dolphins’ midfielder, Victor Babayaro, says they overpowered their opponents, Sony Ela Nguema, in last weekend’s CAF Champions League match because they were more experienced.
Babayaro said: “Yes we won 3-0 away from home but it’s not like Nguema are bad as a football club. They actually have decent players but they are inexperienced.
“That was the edge we had over them and you saw the final score.”
Babayaro said that they will not rest until they lift the CAF Champions League, adding: “It’s just one half of the game played. They still have to come to Port Harcourt but even if we qualify, it’s a long way off to the final.
“The truth is that we have our eyes on the Cup and we will not rest until we get there but we won’t get ahead of ourselves. We will just take each game as it comes.”
