Ayodele Ojo emerges with ‘Muse from the Mountains’

The multi-disciplinary visual artist, Ayodele Ojo, has come up with fresh visual offerings, following his last successful solo photo exhibition of March 2016, which was held in Lagos.
The University of Benin MFA graduate and an accomplished Photo Journalist, titled his latest paintings: “Muse from the Mountains.”
Ojo will be displaying 30 paintings executed in different mediums from June 23 to 29, 2018 at the National Museum, Onikan, Lagos.
The latest exhibition is a marked departure from the last solo photo documentary exhibition with his use of pure bold colours on canvas and different mediums ranging from oil colours to acrylic and water colour.
His interpretation of the theme shows a deep understanding of the emotional imagery interplay as well as colour contrast applications in the landscape interpretations.
Ojo explained the use of the word: “Mountain,” as not only the physical form, but used figuratively to leave new meanings ranging from it been a barrier or the peak of excellence.
