Remi Sulola, the Media Officer of Super Falcons, said the team was ready to tackle Mali in their opening Group B match at the African Women Championship in Cameroon.
Sulola told the News Agency of Nigeria via a social media platform on Friday in Abuja that the team was ready for the match.
NAN reports that Falcons, the defending champions, will take on the Malian side at the Stade Municipal de Limbe on Sunday.
Sulola said: “The spirit in camp now is very high and the girls are ready to go.
“They know what is at stake and we are getting lots of support from the Nigerian fans here.
“So, we just pray that the game will be in our favour because we have trained hard.”
Nigeria will also take on Ghana on November 23 before their last group game against debutants Kenya on November 26.
