The Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress says the nationwide Local Government Congresses will proceed by Saturday September 4th, 2021 as contained in the official timetable/schedule of activities released by the party.
This was part of the resolutions of the 16th meeting of the CECPC held on Wednesday September 1, 2021 at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
According to a statement signed by the national secretary of the CECPC, Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe, the CECPC also ratified and adopted the results of the party’s nationwide ward congresses held on Saturday July 31st, 2021.
It also approved the immediate inauguration of ward executives by state caretaker committees.
