The panel set up by the Ogun State Government to investigate allegations of unlawful administration of virginity test on 10 students of Ajuwon Senior High School, Ajuwon, Ifo Local Government Area of the state, has submitted its report.
The five-member panel, headed by Idowu Adeniji, submitted the report to the state Commissioner for Education, Segun Odubela, on Tuesday.
A statement by the Press Officer, Ogun State Ministry of Education, Kayode Oduyebo, quoted Adeniji as saying the committee obtained both oral and written evidences from community leaders in Ajuwon, including students and other members of the public.
Adeniji said the panel gave all involved equal opportunities.
The report is in four volumes.
The Principal of Ajuwon Senior High Scholl, Olufunke Aladeojobi, was alleged to have on December 10, 2012, invited a nurse to conduct virginity test on the female students without the consent of their parents or guardians.
