The remains of the late veteran actor, Pa Akin Ogungbe, will be laid to rest on Friday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
And preparations have reached advanced stage to bury him in grand style.
This is because of his huge contribution to the development of the Yoruba movie genre.
As the Dele Odule-led planning committee was preparing to give a befitting burial to the Ireke Onibudo fame actor, the Ogun State Government has also indicated interest through its Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Yewande Amusan, that it was set to be a part of the weeklong burial, which kicks off early next week.
Top fuji artistes such as Saheed Osupa, Sefiu Alao and a few other notable artistes have been contracted to perform at the final burial ceremony on Friday.
