The Super Eagles World Cup Group F opponents, Iran, and Croatia on Tuesday became the second and third countries respectively to arrive in Brazil for the global showpiece.
The world football governing body, FIFA, in a statement on its official website on Wednesday, said that Iran landed, shortly before Croatia, at the Sao Paulo International Airport, Brazil at 4:10pm (local time).
Australia was the first of the 32 teams to land in Brazilian territory last week.
The Iranians will start their World Cup campaign against Nigeria on June 16 in Curitiba, after which they are to face Argentina on June 21 and Bosnia and Herzegovina, June 25.
According to FIFA, upon arrival in Sao Paulo, Iranian Coach, Carlos Queiroz, said that his team would do everything possible to have a successful campaign at the World Cup.
Queiroz said: “As we came from the other side of the world, we arrived earlier to start our preparation.
“We have earned the right to play against the best.
“Now it is time to do it.
“We have 90 minutes in each game and we will use them the best way.”
Croatians, who will trade tackles with host nation, Brazil, in the opening match on June 12 at the Arena de Sao Paulo, arrived at the Salvador International Airport at 4:15pm (local time).
The European side will also face Mexico and Cameroon in the group stage.
