Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has accused his twin brother, Peter, of being behind the fraud allegations against their elder brother and manager, Jude Okoye.
Paul revealed this to newsmen after he secured Jude’s release from detention with his house in Ikoyi, Lagos State as guarantee.
The Eagle Online recalls that Jude was on February 26, 2025 remanded in Ikoyi Correctional Centre following his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations of money laundering amounting to N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.
He pleaded not guilty to all the charges, with the court adjourning to February 28, 2025 for his bail hearing.
Speaking with newsmen after the court hearing, Rudeboy said: “I’m supporting him because I know the truth.

“The truth is Peter is the one putting Jude through these things.
“It’s Peter who is doing this.
“He is putting him in prison and I’m here to bring him out.
“I’m only standing for the truth because the same crime that they accused him of doing, Peter is guilty.
“Paul is also guilty too.”
Jude Okoye is being tried alongside his company, Northside Music Limited, before Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court in Lagos on a seven-count charge.
