Super Eagles’ stand-in captain, Ahmed Musa, is back to his base in Saudi Arabia.
The winger, according to NFF Assistant Director of Communication, Ademola Olajire, departed the team’s camp at about 12pm on Sunday.
The player, who will not feature against the Pharaohs of Egypt, was granted permission to return to Saudi Arabia by the national team manager, Gernot Rohr.
Meanwhile, Musa has pledged N1 million for each goal scored by Under 23 national team against Libya.
Musa made this pledge while addressing the media on his way back to Saudi Arabia.
Ahmed said the idea was to motivate the team and ensure they qualify for the next round of the series.
He advised the team to be focused and committed in order to make Nigeria proud.
Nigeria suffered 2-0 defeat in the first leg they played with Libya last week in Tunis.
