The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Ahmadu Fintiri, is scheduled to be inaugurated as the governor of the state at 4pm on Tuesday (today) barring any unforeseen circumstances.
This followed the sack of the Governor, Alhaji Murtala Nyako, by the Assembly earlier on Tuesday.
Nyako was sacked after he was indicted by a seven-man panel for misappropriation of state funds.
His deputy, Bala Ngari, had minutes before the sack of Nyako, resigned.
To replace Fintiri as speaker would be his deputy, Hon. Kwamoti La’ori.
