Reports just filtering in has it that the Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Bala Ngilari, has resigned.
Ngilari, along side his boss, Alhaji Murtala Nyako, were probed in absentia last week by a panel set up by the state Chief Judge at the behest of the state House of Assembly.
They were accused of gross misappropriation of funds.
Both of them did not honour the invitation of the panel to defend themselves.
The panel concluded its sitting on Sunday though details of its finding and recommendations are yet to be made public.
Sequel to the resignation, the House of Assembly has declared Ngilari’s seat vacant, a report monitored on Channels Television said.
