The All Nigerian Editors Conference, the annual conference of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, will hold in Katsina, the Katsina State capital, from August 27 to 31, 2014.
The conference, which has its theme as: “Credible elections and the Nigerian Editor,” will be hosted by the Katsina State Government.
About 300 Editors from the electronic, print and online media are expected to attend the conference where new members and new fellows of the Guild will be inducted.
Already, an array of international and national speakers have been lined up for the conference.
State governors and other top government officials are expected to grace the executive session.
The President of the Guild, Femi Adesina, in a meeting with the planning team in Abuja, charged the committee, headed by Garbadeen Mohammed, to ensure a hitch free conference that will impact professionalism and nation building.
Mohammed, on his part, promised a robust outing for the NGE.
He disclosed that other details of the conference will be unveiled soon.
