Falcons to tackle Eaglets in test match

The Super Falcons will square up against the U-17 boys in a test match on Friday in preparation for the double header against Cameroon and Rwanda.
The friendly will be played at the FIFA Goal project pitch Abuja by 7.30am, according to Falcons Head Coach, Edwin Okon.
Okon said: “We decided to organise this friendly so that some of these girls will not think we are here for jamboree. The friendly is a wake up call that we are here for business.
“We are not thinking of the goals.
“We just want to see what we will do with the boys, because as we all know, the boys are faster than the girls.
“We want to see how they can match up with the tempo of these boys.
“Even if we play 30 or 40 minutes for each half, the friendly will be all encompassing because we will use it to train, screen and watch their pace.”
Some of the invited players will not be available for the tie due to personal reasons.
Team Co-ordinator, Henrietta Ukaigwe, informed that Rivers Angels attacker, Stella Mbachu, was excused, goalkeeper Dikachi Uzor and attacker Tawa Ishola are in Qatar at the moment, while defender Osinachi Ohale, who is currently on trials in USA, was permitted to join the team this weekend.
Meanwhile, Adejoke Ejalonibu and Miracle Ozubbu are yet to communicate with the camp.
