President Goodluck Jonathan has promised to foot the medical bill of the ailing veteran actor, Romanus Uchenna, popularly known as Natty in the rested but much watched sitcom in the 90s, the New Masquerade.
Ibinabo Fiberesima, the President of Actors of Guild of Nigeria, was said to have solicited for funds from the President for the ailing comic actor.
Uchenna was said to have been hit by stroke since 2006 and was left bedridden since then.
Miraculously, in 2010, he managed to regain his steps but could only limp, as the right side of his body had gone numb.
He is said to be happy now as the Federal Government has taken steps to rescue him from the killer disease.
