President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a plethora of requests to the Senate for the confirmation of his nominees for various positions.
This was revealed on Tuesday during plenary by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, who read the letters from President Muhammadu Buhari.
Top on the list of nominees is Justice John Tosho who Buhari wants confirmed as the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court.
Buhari also nominated Justice Benedict Bakwaph Kanyip as the President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria.
Also sent to the Senate were three nominees as Resident Electoral Commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The INEC nominees are Umar Mukhtar Gajiram (Borno), Dr. Aiaiibo Sinikiem Johnson (Bayelsa) and Raheem Muideen Olalekan (Osun).
