Nigeria Premier League campaigners, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Football Club, were involved in an auto crash on Sunday.
The incident, according to an eyewitness, occurred in Akungba, Ondo State at about 4pm on their way back to Lagos from Jos, Plateau State.
It was also learnt that no life was lost but some members of the team, including the head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, sustained various degree of injuries.
The coach, we gathered, recently recovered from an illness.
MFM suffered a lone goal defeat to Plateau United in Match Day 5 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
It can be recalled that NPFL returnee, Kwara United, suffered a similar crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway a few weeks ago.
MFM FC was yet to issue a statement as at press time.
