No fewer than 13 persons have been killed by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen in four villages in Logo and Ukum Local Government Areas of Benue State.
This development was confirmed by the spokesman of the Benue State Police Command, ASP Moses Yamu.
Yamu said four persons were killed in Vaase in Ukum Local Government Area, while three were killed in Anyiin and one in Uzer, both in Logo Local Government Area.
Five persons were killed in Tsukwa.
The attacks, according to sources, were carried out simultaneously in the wee hours of Wednesday by the suspected herdsmen.
