A Family Court at the Iyaganku area of Ibadan has ordered the remand of one Musa Tijani, 40, at Abolongo Custodial Centre, Oyo, for allegedly raping a minor.
Tijani, whose address was not provided, was, on Thursday, charged with rape.
The Magistrate, Sherifat Adesina, did not take the plea of the defendant for want of jurisdiction.
She directed the police to return the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions for the issuance of legal advice.

Adedeji alleged that the defendant had unlawful sexual intercourse with an eight-year-old girl (name withheld) without her consent.
She said the defendant committed an offence contrary to Section 34 of the Oyo State Child Rights Law, 2006.
