The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party in the 2023 elections, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has said that there are conditions to be met for him to be the running mate to Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election.
The Eagle Online recalls that Obi, a former two-term governor of Anambra State, was the presidential candidate of the LP in the 2023 polls.

According to a report, Kwankwaso said this in a recent viral post.
He indicated his willingness, in the post in Hausa language, to serve as the running mate of Obi in 2027.
As reported by The PUNCH, Kwankwaso said: “I’m bigger than Peter Obi politically;
“I’m his elder brother, I’m a PhD holder, I performed better than him when I was the governor of my state.
“I’ve no problem with deputising for Peter Obi, but only if certain conditions are met.
“We are willing to engage in discussions, provided that trust is established.”
