The Nigeria Women Football League has announced its 2022/2023 mid-season break for premiership clubs from January 23 to February 3 to resume on February 8.
The league organisers made this development known on its Twitter handle: @the_nwflpage, on Friday.
It tweeted: “The NWFL announce the start of the mid-season break for the NWFL Premiership after the end of the first stanza.
“At the break, the mid-season transfer window will run from January 23 to February 3.
“The second-round returns on February 8”.
The league goes on break after its Match Day 7 with 14 teams, grouped into two, featuring.
Delta Queens are currently top of group A with 16 points, while Edo Queens FC have earned 12 points and are top in group B.
