Ahead of the 2019 general election, the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party for Nasarawa South Senatorial District, Suleiman Adokwe, has said he will beat the Governor of the state, Tanko Al-Makura in the forthcoming 2019 senatorial election.
Al-Makura is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the election.
Adokwe, who is the senator representing the area, made this known on Tuesday during an interview with newsmen in Keana, where he attended this year’s Christmas service.
Adokwe, who explained that his people are already supporting and will vote for him, said he is in the race with confidence.
Adokwe, who commended the people of his senatorial district for the relative peace in the area, urged the state government to do all it could to ensure permanent peace in the area.
He called on Christians to use the occasion of Christmas to reflect and put to practice the good works that Jesus did while on earth.
