The Nigeria Volleyball Federation’s packaged National League has kicked off simultaneously across the six geopolitical zones and Federal Zone.
It will hold from April to October at designated centres across the country.
The Federal Zone has been created to offer the opportunity for military and para-military organizations to take part in the League.
For the South West Zone, the League is being played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, with all the six States in the region participating.
The South West zonal competition is featuring 16 male and female teams from 12 clubs, with two male and female from each State, bringing the numbers of players to 18 males and 18 females.
In the end, two Teams (Club/State) will emerge to represent the zone at the Round of 16 at the National Competition.
