15 dead, 20 injured as teenage suicide bomber hits Adamawa mosque

The National Emergency Management Agency says 15 people died with 20 injured in a Mubi, Adamawa State mosque bomb blast on Tuesday.
Idris Garga, the North East Coordinator of NEMA, stated this in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria in Mubi.
Garga said: “So far 15 people are killed and about 20 sustained different degrees of injuries in the Mubi Mosque bomb blast.”
Though he said suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers carried out the attack, the attacker has been identified as a male teenager.
Garga said the attack targeted Muslims worshipers performing morning prayers.
The explosive was detonated immediately after the early morning prayer.
Haruna Hamman-Furo, the Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, also confirmed that 15 people were killed and several others injured due to the blast.
