The Nigeria Boxing Federation has selected the 10 boxers for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games qualifiers in Cameroon.
The selected boxers in the male category are Efe Ajagba, Efetobor Apochi, Korede Adeniji, Kazeem Soyoye, Muyideen Oyakojo, Sadiq Umar and Abua Christian.
In the women category are Edith Ogoke-Agu, Kehinde Obareh and Caroline Linus.
The Secretary, Nigeria Boxing Federation, Olusola Luke, said the boxers selection became necessary so as to allow the coaches and athletes concentrate on qualifying for Rio Olympics boxing event.
