American controversial super singer, Chris Brown, on Friday was sentenced to a one-year jail term on the orders of a judge for violating his probation.
In fairness to Brown, the judge said that he would get credit for the time served.
This means that he would serve just 131 days in the Los Angeles County jail in the United States of America.
The troubled ex-boyfriend of another controversial artiste, Rihana, has spent six weeks in custody and five months in a court ordered rehab for anger management.
Brown’s probation is for the 2009 case of beating his ex-girl friend, Rihana.
It was revoked after his arrest in connection with a misdemeanour assault charge.
