Popular Nigerian Prophet, T. B. Joshua, is the latest to join the elitist list of Nigerians with more than two million followers on Facebook.
Joshua’s official Facebook page crossed the milestone on Friday, making him only the second pastor in Africa to have achieved such a feat after the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Adebiye cross the margin last year.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan and Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke, also surpassed two million followers this week.
They thus join the likes of the P-Square twins, Omotola Ekeinde and Davido.
Other Nigerian Facebook Pages to have attained such heights include news portals Naij.com, Information Nigeria and Sahara Reporters.
GT Bank, Gossip Mill Nigeria and MTN Nigeria round up the list.
Online store Kaymu tops the pack with a whopping six million followers.
Joshua thanked followers in a post, ending with his popular slogan: “Better is not good enough; the best is always yet to come.”
The cleric’s YouTube channel, Emmanuel TV, is also the third most subscribed Nigerian channel worldwide, having amassed over 316,000 subscribers since its inception.
It is bettered only by P-Square’s official VEVO channel and Nollywood channel iBAKATV.
