The state congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State earlier scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2014 has been shifted to Saturday, April 26, 2014.
This was contained in a statement issued at the week-end by the State Congresses Committee Chairman for the state, Engr. Sola Akinwumi.
The postponement of the state congress, according to him, is to allow for more preparations by APC stakeholders after the Easter celebrations.
The State Congress Committee Chairman, therefore, enjoined APC stakeholders and party faithful to take note of the new date and make adequate preparations for the congress.
