Outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday held his last meeting with nation’s security chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting took place after the valedictory session of the Federal Executive Council.
Details of the meeting were not known.
Present at the meeting were the Minister of Defence, General Aliyu Gusau; the National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki; the Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh; the Chief of Army Staff, General Kenneth Minimah; the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin; the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Adeshola Amosun; the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase; and the Director General of the Department of State Services, Ita Ekpenyong.
President Jonathan later had a group photograph with the Service Chiefs after the meeting, which ended at about 5:30pm.
