Hull City and Stoke City are looking into the signature of Victor Anichebe.
Hull and Stoke are both attempting to strengthen their attacking options and Anichebe would be a cheap option for either club.
However, the Nigerian international may not be set for a move before the transfer window shuts.
The powerful forward is currently a free agent after his contact at West Brom expired in the summer.
With that in mind, it would appear that both Hull and Stoke could be ready to target Anichebe should they fail to bring in any other striker before the window shuts this evening.
It is unlikely that Anichebe would have been a first-choice option for either side but should the window shut before other deals get pushed over the line then Hull or Stoke might very well take a good look at the Nigerian.
