Following the confusion that trailed the result of primaries conducted, some angry youths and women on Monday took over the All Progressives Congress Secretariat along Airport Road in Benin City, Edo State, demanding the sack of the state executive members led by acting Chairman, Jarret Tenebe.
The angry protesters were led by the Youth leader of the party, Tony Adun, popularly known as Kabaka.
They forced their way into the offices and brought the furniture, bags of rice and other equipment, vowing to stay at the building for seven days.

According to Adun, the protest was against the conduct of the officials at Saturday’s primary election of the party which resulted in the emergence of three winners.
Pertinently, Senator Professor Oserheimen Osunbor, one of the top contenders of the Edo APC 2024 governorship primary election, had earlier called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the looming crisis of the party after a flawed primary conducted last Saturday.
In addition, Senator Osunbor called for the cancellation of the primaries, which has so far produced three APC Governorship candidates for the forthcoming election.
