The angry protesters were led by the Youth leader of the party, Tony Adun, popularly known as Kabaka.
News Agency of Nigeria reports that the protesters marched to the secretariat of the Nigerian Union of Journalists to lodge their grievances.
In the statement, the party said: “The leaders lamented the lackluster leadership of the party at the Senatorial District and observed that the State Vice Chairman and Senatorial leader, Barr Gentleman Amegor failed woefully in implementing the laudable objectives contained in the party’s constitution
The spokesman, who did give the new date fixed for the local government congress, however, said that the outstanding ward congresses would be concluded on Saturday
