The leader of a suspected gang of robbers, Abimbola Musa, popularly known as Don, on Thursday told the Oyo State Police Command why his gang normally kills their victims after robbing them.
Musa said the gang was formed in Lagos State and had been operating in the four states of Oyo, Ogun, Osun and for one year.
According to him: “We would snatch a car at gunpoint or from where it was parked and use them to rob.
“We would abandon the car afterwards.
“We have snatched up to 10 cars within a year.
“I attended Success Grammar School in Lagos.
“We have killed some of our victims because they struggled with us.
“I killed one of them.
“The gang was formed in Oshodi and Mushin areas of Lagos.”

The Police Commissioner, Abiodun Odude, said Musa and his gang were deadly robbers who had killed at least three of their victims.
Odude disclosed that items recovered from the gang included seven cars and firearms.
He said: “For some time now, a very deadly notorious armed robbery gang had been operating in the states, killing and maiming their victims, including a night guard.
