West Ham to splash N3.2b on Emenike

English Premier League side, West Ham, are preparing an audacious N3.2 billion bid for Nigerian international, Emmanuel Emenike, to lure him out of Russia this summer.
A Spartak source confirmed that Spartak are planning to hold out for a profit on the deal they struck with Turkish side, Fenerbahce, to bring Emenike to Russia in 2011.
The source said: “The story is very close to the true situation.
“I doubt that Spartak would sell him for less than €15 million (£13m) because he was bought for a little less than €10m (£8.5m).”
Meanwhile, the Hammers will get the green light to sign Emenike, so long as Spartak Moscow will recall striker Artem Dzuyba from a loan.
The source added: “At the moment, Emenike looks much stronger, especially after Saturday’s win over Dynamo Moscow (4-1).
“He has scored six goals in his first three matches for Rostov and currently is the best goal-scorer in the league.
“If Dzyuba continues to play like he does now, the chances that Spartak will take him back are high.
“Spartak will have three players in the same position and if they get a good offer from an English club, I would not exclude the possibility of selling Emenike.”
Further investigation revealed that the transfer appears increasingly likely, with Spartak expected to be open to a deal.
