The Lagos State University says it has not commenced the admission process for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.
The university’s spokesman, Adekoya Martins, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Lagos.
Martins advised prospective students and concerned individuals to disregard notices advertising the commencement of its admission process, especially, on the social media.
He warned prospective candidates and the public to guide against falling victims to some unscrupulous individuals.
He said some were already using such platforms to post information about the institution and its admission process.
According to him, members of the public will be duly informed through its official website and other means of communication once the admission process begins.
Martins said: “The University will use its official website: www.lasu.edu.ng and other official social media handles as well as national newspapers to make the announcement once the 2018/2019 admission process opens.”
