Sequel to the success of the Eargasm concert, a show headlined by veteran Highlife musician, Sir Victor Uwaifor, and Hip-hop act, 2Face Idibia, the former has featured 2Face in his new Single: Tupepe.
Tupepe is a second track from the album: Legend Reborn.
The development followed the signing of Uwaifo to 2Face’s Hypertek Digital/960 Music and the huge reception received for the duet performance of Tupepe on the ‘Eargasm’ Stage.
Tupepe is produced by Jay Sleek. The song marries the essence of rural Edo State sound, that has been well exported by Uwaifo, with contemporary Nigerian pop, leading to a song that appeals to all ages.
Directed by Clarence Peters, the video for the song, which is scheduled for release soon, is expected to be a spectacular visual treat, starring both stars.
Uwaifo, through Hypertek Digital/960 Music Group, released his latest album, Legend Reborn, on February 3, 2015 as a double album.
Volume 1 consists of throwback classics such as Joromi, Guitar Boy, while the second volume contains fresh songs done in collaboration with some of the biggest and talented artistes and producers today.
Uwaifo is a world class sculptor, academic, writer, performer and musician, whose music has impacted people across the world.
