The management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has disclosed that the female hostel donated to the institution on Tuesday was done by Daisy Danjuma (nee Ehanire).
In a press statement on Friday by the UNIBEN Public Relation Officer, Benedicta Ehanire, said it has become expedient to make the clarification.
The statement read, “It has become expedient to set the record straight with regard to the donation of hostels to the University of Benin by General Theophilus Danjuma and Senator Daisy Ehanire- Danjuma.
“Against the misrepresentation of facts in sections of the media, the first hostel was graciously donated by the elder statesman, while the second and third hostels (one commissioned a few days ago and the other, on-going) are free–will donations by Senator Daisy-Ehanire Danjuma.
