Okirika born freedom fighter, Comrade Tom Ateke, has reconciled the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, and her erstwhile sworn enemy, Emeka Rollas.
The two were reconciled during the 52nd birthday bash of the Okirika born high chief, who staged a three-day celebration for his family, friends and fans a few days back in Port Harcourt, the River State capital.
Fiberesima and Rollas were reportedly seen hugging each other and with a promise to finally sheathe their swords.
The warring parties were also warned to desist from tarnishing their images as well as that of the Guild and what it stands for.
In Ateke’s reconciliatory remarks during the party, he said: “This is the way we should live.
“We should all live together as one family.
“Emeka should support Ibinabo’s ambition and Ibinabo should lend listening ears.
“I don’t hate people.
“I try to settle all quarrels and let peace reign because that is what we all need and should do towards a better Nigeria.”
Ibinabo and Rollas both said they have put the past behind them.
They promised that the bitter rivalry had come to an end.
