Three persons were killed in an auto crash in Kwara State on Thursday.
The Federal Road Safety Corps said this in a statement in Ilorin by its Kwara Sector Commander, Jonathan Owoade.
Four other persons, the FRSC said, were reported injured in the accident.
He stated the accident involved an articulated truck and a Toyota Corolla car, adding that the crash was blameable on speed violation.
Owoade added that the corpses were deposited at the mortuary at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, while the injured were taken for treatment at a clinic.
He said: “There were no items recovered from the crash site.
“We appeal to motorists to be road safety conscious and avoid over speeding.
“The best drivers are the ones who reach their destinations safely.”
