According to a statement by World Stage Limited, the objective of the hybrid WES 2022 with the theme, ‘Nigeria’s Economy: Bridging the infrastructural gap’ to hold both virtually (through Zoom) and physically at the IBIS Hotels, Ikeja, is to examine the infrastructural gap challenges and proffer solutions that would significantly help at improving prospects of achieving the nation’s economic potential.

Top government officials, including the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Ameachi; Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu; Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, Nigerian Communications Commission, who joined experts to deliberate at the virtual WorldStage Economic Summit on November 10, 2020, agreed on the urgent need for the country to control its development agenda and ensure the success of home-grown solutions.

In a statement by World Stage Limited, the organisers said the summit (http://worldstagegroup.com/wes), which tales place at the Event Centre, Nigerian Stock Exchange, 2-4 Customs Street, Lagos by 9:30am, will attract the participation of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, members of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Nigeria Computer Society, Association of Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria and Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry among others
