In a statement to mark this year’s World Whistleblowing Day, the organisation noted that Nigeria is playing catch-up with an issue other African countries like Ghana, South Africa and Uganda have formalised.

On World Whistleblowing Day celebrated June 23 every year, the African Centre for Media and Information Literacy has called on the Nigerian Government to make the protection of whistleblowers a priority in its fight against corruption.
