Special Adviser to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Lt. Col. Paul Hemba, told newsmen Friday in Makurdi, the State’s capital that the kidnappers were arrested on Aug. 9 in Makurdi.
Ortom, who was at the police headquarters in Makurdi on Monday to see the corpses of the suspected kidnappers, said that the feat was commendable.
The Police Spokesman in the state, ASP Moses Yamu, told the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Makurdi that the ammunition were concealed in a Volkswagen salon bus with registration number: GBK 226 XA
